Does it look like a cartoon when going around a corner, though?

If i don't set the suspension to Sport, yes.

Hired one of these once, with 50% more gears and diesel. Went well.
Couldn't detect any difference between Normal and Sport on the suspension though.
The fixed hub wheel is different.

Was the suspension the Hidractive? It makes the car a lot less soft

I presume so as it's adjustable.
It also had sat nav, steering xenon lights and power seats.

Make sure to try and sit in the back at highway speeds if you have Hydractiv, it goes from seasick to normal car ;-). When driving it just leans a bit less in the corners.

4 speed automatic ? I wasn't even aware PSA were still making regular automatic gearboxes. I thought they only offered semi-automatic gearboxes (like the ETG6) instead of automatics.

Mine is a 2009 model, I'm guessing ZF 4 speed, the one that breaks easily.

Then it's nothing like American luxury cars.
;-)
And while you have 150HP, for it to be American, it needs to make that 150HP using an engine of 5L or more, overhead valves and a minimum of 8 cyl.
